Welcome to Arise Campus Ministry!

At United College Ministries of NOVA (or Arise Campus Ministry), we hope to be a Christian Community where we love ALL, no buts included. We have Life-groups (small groups) at George Mason University and at NOVA Community College (Annandale Campus) and are expanding into new spaces.

New for Fall 2025/Spring 2026:

This year, we are expanding our food ministry. Food insecurity is a real concern at our universities and years ago we promised to provide a meal at our evening life-groups. We have expanded over the past year to a lunch service on campus, a Take What You Need Tent that feeds between 50 and 100 students each time we engage, and still offering meals at each life-group.

This is so needed on campus, and we have even heard positive results. One student not associated with Arise came up to our tent, with tears in her eyes and told us, “it is so hard being a Christian on this campus because the only people out here are evangelists who yell at people. It means everything that you are out here with just love.”

Arise is growing and we need resources to reach more people. Next semester we hope to feed an extra 500 students (total of 1,500 next year), offering a food ministry scholarship to help us with the extra food, supplies for offering all these meals and marketing to let people know we are here and loving people. To find information about our food ministry and how to sponsor a meal (life-group, Table service and/or Take What You Need Tent) go to this page.
