Weekly Life-Group Offerings

Sunday Evening Life-Group

Join us Sunday nights at 7:30pm in Johnson Center, Study Room 118 for Bible study and community. This semester we will explore themes and lessons from David F Evans newest book ; Damned Whiteness: How White Christian Allies Failed the Black Freedom Movement.  Together we’ll share our thoughts and get into some good conversation.  Whether you’re curious, questioning, or deeply rooted in your faith, you’re welcome here. Dinner will be provided.

Wednesday Night LGBTQIA+ Life-Group

Join us Wednesday nights for a Life Group created for and led by LGBTQIA+ students. While our campus ministry is fully inclusive and affirming, this weekly gathering is a space intentionally shaped by and for queer identities. This weekly gathering centers the lived experiences, questions, and wisdom of queer students as they explore scripture through a non-heteronormative lens.

We meet Wednesdays during the semester from 7:00–9:00pm in the Spiritual and Interfaith Center (Fenwick Wing A) and dinner will be provided. Students who identify as LGBTQIA+ and allies are invited

Student Leadership Life-Group

Student Leaders are integral to the community building at Arise Campus Ministry.   Due  to  their significant involvement with building an inclusive faith community we recognize the need for a Life-Group where  our Student Leaders can  nourish themselves, and grow together in their leadership  skills. This life group is led by Rev. Drew and  the Campus Coordinator  Rue.

Tuesday Community Life-Group

Rue leads our Community Life Group on Tuesdays from 12:00pm to 1:30pm in the Ridge during the semester. Students are invited to drop in to chat about faith or life happenings, grab some snacks, or engage in a mindful activity.
